The active work of young people in every form of human association is very significant.  The type of the work of youth in an association manifests its vitality and strength.  If the young people are dynamic, an association will be able to accomplish marvelous activities and attain greater heights.  The active work of young people in an association is also an assurance that its future is glorious and bright.
The Malankara Catholic Faithful, organized under the canopy KMRM (Kuwait Malankara Rite Movement), can be proud of its youth association Yuvajyothi.  The young people of the Malankara Community carry out praiseworthy activities and they are a promise to the Malankara Community in India and Kuwait.  Their involvement in the activities of the Community such as Liturgy, Liturgy Classes and charitable activities need special mention. Yuvadarsanam, the periodical published by Yuvajyothi discusses topics of contemporary interests for the Catholic Faithful in Kuwait.
The young people must remember that the faith they have received is a gift of God and it is their duty to nourish it through ongoing study and learning, and sacramental life.  Keep in mind also that our fathers have maintained the unity within the Church and with Universal Church through great efforts.  It is now the responsibility of the young people to foster unity and solidarity within our community.  Moreover they have to organize meaningful programs for those who arrive newly in Kuwait, so that they will be able to face the challenges against faith and tradition, and maintain their relation with the Malankara Community.
I wish all the best for the activities of Yuvajyothi and pray that God may bestow upon our young people the graces needed for a meaningful Christian life in Kuwait!

Dear brothers and sisters,

Welcome to the Yuvajyothi website. It is our intent to share with you some aspects of our work and the youth we serve within our facility.The main aim of Yuvajyothi is to bring together the scattered youth of Malankara community and to support the Catholic  communities in Kuwait. It has been a driving force in the community ever since it was formed.
Yuvajyothi actively participates and cooperates with all the spiritual, social and cultural activities of Kuwait Malankara Rite Movement – K.M.R.M. We also play an important role in the liturgy, liturgical classes and charitable activities of the community. A variety of services and programs are offered to our youths aiming to promote personal responsibility, good decision making and the development of positive social skills.
We publish a trimagazine named “Yuvadarshanam” which discusses various topics like spiritual, liturgical, social, medical and moral subjects, suiting all ages. Malankara Yuva Challengers (MYC), the cricket team of Yuvajyothi has been formed for those interested in Games.
Besides the magazine “Yuvadarshanam”, it gives us pleasure to introduce a new media of information, a webpage for youth. I take this opportunity to thank God and extend my gratitude to all the members of Yuvajyothi for their sincere cooperation. Let us all join hands and work together to build up the Malankara Catholic Community. Let us all unite and be in harmony. May all our activities be fruitful and successful.
