Catechism School 2009-2010

 

 â€œBut Jesus called them to him, saying, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." (Luke 18:15-17)

 

 Malankara Liturgical Classes

 The academic year for KMRM- Liturgical Class starts from November1st 2009 to October31st 2010. It functions with over 135 Students and 20 Teachers.

 Regular Classes are conducted on every FIRST and THIRD Fridays at 2:30 pm at SUCCESSLINE AUDITORIUM, ABBASSIYA. (Any changes will be well informed to parents).

Children of age group 4 to 17 are welcome for the regular classes. A very attractive Nursery Session has been launched for the kids.

Goal / Responsibilities

  • Impart the Gospel message, whereby help children to live in spiritual values in faithfulness to the Lord
  • Inculcate an awareness of the history of the Syro Malankara Church and to explain how the sacrificial life of our forefathers played role in the formation of the church.
  • To prompt them about the importance of Sacraments in day to day Christian life.
  • To educate them on the significance of the Syro Malankara liturgy and an active participation in the same.
  • To encourage them to develop love and concern for all human kind, and to involve in charitable activities of the Church.
